(INTRO)

This Memorial Day, the Real Warriors Campaign encourages Americans to honor the sacrifices of our returning warriors by helping them ease the transition from deployment to the home front. An estimated 2 million service members have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

One of those brave warriors is Staff Sgt. Josh Hopper, a U.S. Marine and Purple Heart recipient who served two tours of duty in Iraq. He knows firsthand that homecomings can be difficult and why it’s important to reach out for help when you need it.

(HOPPER)

Coming home from deployment was exciting, but it was also stressful. Life on the home front is different from life when you’re deployed and every homecoming is different. If you or a loved one is dealing with stress or an invisible wound, reaching out for support can help you cope and heal.
